Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. The app is fully functional without one. Your data is stored locally in your browser. An account is only needed for cloud sync across devices and for Pro plans.
What services can I link?
Anything with a URL. Nexus doesn’t integrate with APIs, it’s deliberately a map, not another dashboard to maintain. That’s why adding a service takes five seconds and never breaks.
What happens to my data if I clear my browser?
Local data lives in localStorage, so clearing site data removes it. Use the one-click JSON export as a backup, or enable cloud sync. Imports restore everything, including your layout.
What does “Lifetime” mean exactly?
Unlimited projects for as long as Nexus is operated, including all future updates. If the service were ever discontinued, you’d be notified well in advance and could export everything.
